Among the key questions were concerns whether we could find the right talent for onboarding. Specifically, what skills are available in the Ukraine, how fast resources could be provisioned, how competitive local talent would be from pricing prospective, what is the typical retention rate and if there are any references and experience working with Israeli customers? The last question seemed to be very important and amazingly easy to answer.
Many people are not aware that quite a bit of Israeli companies already have their own offices in the Ukraine and are fully leveraging local software engineering capabilities. They recognize local talent, creativity, critical thinking and cultural fit.

It is safe to say that Ukraine is well-know for good engineering capabilities and has a great potential.
